Postby molczak » Fri Aug 09, 2013 7:53 am

Hello,

is there a specific place I can find list of supported HW ?
Emulator is great dev tool, but in the end you must test on real device :)

Cheers,

Hello,

List of supported devices will be made available on this website shortly, too.
In the meantime, hopefully, you can find information about specific devices via individual device manufacturers.

Hi,

I guess it is Philips NetTV 4.1+, LG NC4+, Panasonic SmartViera 2013. On Toshiba I have no idea - we just start development there.

Hi,

Toshiba compatible models should be all 2013 CloudTV lines: L4300, L7300, L7350 and L9300.

Hi,

Regarding the full compatibility with LG NetCast TVs you need NC4+ model (2013). In general applications will be compatible also with NC3 models (2012), since those are at the end all web based, but not everything will be working especially the STA specific things.

Particularly the part that on NC3 is missing (and is important for OTT) is OIPF DRM support. On other side this can be handled easily by NetCast player, which works with the DRM without any problems.
