Is it possible to automatically launch Smart TV application when device (TV) is powered-on (i.e. configure an app to automatically start without explicitly opening My Apps menu and launching it using remote control)?

Our client wants an application that would completely replace set top box on Smart TV devices, so they want to reduce the number of steps their users need to start the application (of course, the app would still close if the users hits \"Exit\" button etc.)

Is it possible at all?
