Thanks. They don't seem to have a developer portal.

Weren't they part of the Smart TV Alliance at one point, and do any old devices still support STA?

Hi everybody,

Is it possible to automatically launch Smart TV application when device (TV) is powered-on (i.e. configure an app to automatically start without explicitly opening My Apps menu and launching it using remote control)?

Our client wants an application that would completely replace set top box on Smart TV devices, so they want to reduce the number of steps their users need to start the application (of course, the app would still close if the users hits \"Exit\" button etc.)

Is it possible at all?

However, I'm not interested in changing the platform indentifying, but rather functionalities that you've mentioned and appearance (CSS, HTML...)

Hi Dalibor,

You can override the user agent to test your functions (See diversity handling guidelines for user agent string).
But please note that this way just change the platform indentifying, not for specific functionalities of devices as LG webOS / NetCast ...

Hello,
Can someone provide the list of supported DRMs for each platform in STA?
I'm aware that LG webOS supports Widevine and PlayReady (I don't know about Verimatrix though), and I know LG NetCast supports Verimatrix.
What about other manufacturers? What about other supporting DRMs for LG?
