Hi,

If you want to use some other IDE than Eclipse you need to publish your app to a webserver for testing. You can then create a bookmark to start you app by clicking the 'Add bookmarks now' link under the address bar in the home screen of the emulator. After entering the name and URL of your app a tile will be added to the home screen that will star your app when clicked.

Notice that if you use a local webserver for testing, the localhost will point to the virtual machine of the emulator and not your local webserver.

Regards,
STA QA
Statistics: Posted by Support_STA — Fri Feb 14, 2014 1:06 am

Hi there,

Is there a way to create manually an app build and to put it directly in the emulator?

My goal is not to use eclipse ide.

And then, how to connect to the emulator/vm?

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by bao — Thu Feb 13, 2014 3:13 pm
