Hello All,

Is anyone aware about the HTML5 Fullscreen API support in SmartTV engine?

From what I can see the Fullscreen API methods are available in the JS namespace running within the SmartTV emulator, but trying element.webkitRequestFullScreen() is not activating the full screen mode.

Fully aware that the Fullscreen API is not fully standartized as we speak, so it might not be available in SmartTV implementation.

If we cannot use the Fullscreen API, how would you achieve fullscreen video of element on the SmartTV platform?

Any hints/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Jack
Statistics: Posted by jack_1 — Mon Mar 09, 2015 2:50 am
