I personally test by hosting the app on a local web server, like node or apache, and then browse to the server IP on the TVs inbuilt browser.
I have no idea if the experience is the same though, as I have not distributed an app yet.
Statistics: Posted by sebjorg_1 — Mon Apr 27, 2015 4:22 am

From what I understand, yes. We cannot run the app on TV while in WIP.
Emulator only, which is pretty lame. How can you optimise for performance when you cannot test on real device?!

On the other hand, at least something.
Statistics: Posted by contact.7_1 — Thu Feb 12, 2015 12:33 am

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but from what I've read so far, I can not run an app during development on my TV?
In other words, I can only run it when I publish it.

If I'm wrong, and I hope I am, please tell me how to do it.

Thank You.
Statistics: Posted by manticevic_1 — Mon Feb 02, 2015 7:17 am
