It isn't possible to discover DLNA server on TV (with JS only).
I know and understand why this is not possible with JS only. We need to rely on some service, which can discover (send/receive packets) device on network. Is there something we can use?

So how can I managed to create a Smart Alliance App with DLNA ? Because there are no records of DLNA in LG's Dev guides too ? Does an equivalent of Samsung's AllShare ?

Do you want to know that is there any API in STA SDK documentation which supports for DLNA app?
Unfortunately, there is no API that is mentioned in STA Spec or Development Guideline document for your purpose.

I'd like to use the DLNA API in my app to get a mediacenter. I don't find any trace of the API in the SDK doc. Can someone help me ?
